(Scorpaenidae) This fish is a master of camouflage and stealth. It sits motionless, waiting to ambush passing fish by opening its very large, wide mouth, pouncing forward and sucking in the prey with extre me speed! There are literally dozens of varieties of scorpionfish in all shapes and sizes.

They are called Scorpionfish because they have a “sting”…
